.: Recently the Restaurant Mizzen-mast of Marbella has been distinguished with major Spare tire, restaurant where our exalumno D. Raúl Gonzalez, practises of Wine steward.
.: On November 13, 2006. Simon Juhl Olesen, 2 º Maitre and old pupil of our school he obtains 1er. Prize of Sumillería’s Contest celebrated inside the FAIR OF THE WINE in Torremolinos’s Conference hall.
.: On February 16, 2006. The IIIrd REGIONAL CONTEST OF YOUNG WAITERS “RENAISSANCE” celebrated and organized by the School of Hotel and catering business Gambrinus of Jaen. 3er. Position achieved by both pupils that they represent to this school.
.: The restaurant of the School of Benalmádena’s Hotel and catering business has been one of the restaurants that the Guide CAMPSA has chosen in the edition of 2006. The qualification “Recommended” supposes a recognition of the quality so much both of our cuisine and of our service since the guide CAMPSA has turned into a modal into the gastronomy into Spain.
.: The prestigious Gastronomic Guide GOURMETOUR, that of major traffic in Spain, distinguished to the Restaurant of the center in his(her,your) edition of 2006 with a punctuation of 8,25 on 10, one of the highest of this zone.
.: 6 November, 2005. Provincial contest of Barmen Spanish’s Association in their assistants’ category of bar, our pupils Simon Juhl and Fernando Salinas obtain the positions(places) 4 º and 5 º respectively.

Classified under the CONTEST II REGIONAL OF YOUNG WAITERS “RENAISSANCE” organized by the School of Hotel and catering business(Hotel management) Gambrinus of Jaen and celebrated in the same one on March 10, 2005 with the participation of 14 schools of hotel and catering business(hotel management) of the whole Andalusia.
.: The Gastronomic Guide GOURMETOUR in the edition of 2005 grants to the Restaurant of the School of Benalmádena’s Hotel and catering business a punctuation of 8 points on 10.
.: 2 º, 3 º and 4 º Position in the speciality of Service of Room in the I I COMPETE ANDALUSIAN OF PROFESSIONAL YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE HOTEL AND CATERING BUSINESS: Cuisine and Service of Room, organized by the Headquarter of Formation for the Employment of the Andalusian Service of Employment of the Meeting of Andalusia and celebrated in the School of Hotel and catering business of Cadiz on the 23rd and 24th of November, 2004. .: 1er. Position in the I REGIONAL CONTEST OF YOUNG WAITERS “RENAISSANCE” organized by the School of Hotel and catering business Gambrinus of Jaen. Both pupils of this center, Mercedes Amoedo and Antonia Aguilar gain this contest with the participation of 20 Schools of Hotel and catering business of the whole Andalusia.
.: March, 2004. Coctels Bar Grand’s contest Prix Bacardí-Martini. Two pupils of this school take part obtaining Javier Núñez 2 º Position in the modality Junior.

The Patronage of Tourism of the Costa del Sol and the Chamber of Trade of Malaga choose to the School of Benalmádena’s Hotel and catering business(Hotel management) to coordinate and to organize the union of wines inside the ” Days of the New of Malaga Kitchen(Cuisine) ” celebrated in the prestigious Hotel ” Him(Her) Bristol ” of Paris.

.: 4 º Coctels BarPrize obtained by a pupil of this School in the CONTEST III REGIONAL OF CUISINE, CONFECTIONARY AND COCTELS BAR” THE FAWN ” of Cordova in the year 2002. Prize of Andalusia “Nariz de Oro” 2002 obtained by the old pupil of our School Miguél Rubio celebrated in Seville.

.: In the year 2002 the Restaurant of the School appears for the first time in the GUIDE GOURMETOUR with a punctuation of 5,5 points on 10. Since then this restaurant has continued going out in the above mentioned Guide every year up to a current puntación of 8,25 points on 10.

.: 1er. I reward in the category Junior obtained by our pupil Vanesa Muñoz in the GRAND PRIX BACARDI-MARTINI, one of the awards of major prestige as for coctels Bar that develops to Andalusian level celebrated in April, 2002.
.: Prize”Nariz de Oro” 2000 of Andalusia obtained in May, 2000 for ours 1er. Maitre, Jose Roldán and later participation in ” Nariz de Oro” Native celebrated in Madrid.
.: In Agoust 1998. The School of Benalmádena’s Hotel and catering business is chosen by the Meeting of Andalusia together with that of Malaga to inform in the commemorative acts in the Week of Andalusia in the EXPO 98 of Lisboa.
.: December, 1995. The European Union chooses La Fonda and LaCónsula to develop the European initiative “YOUTHSTART” inside the generic project TWENTY, dedicated to the formation and pupils’ exchange together with Schools of other countries members as Greece, Great Britain, Italy, France and Belgium.
